Linda Dunn’s 6-year-old dog, Fisher, is a happy girl with a good amount of energy. As a beagle, she’s also prone to carrying a bit of extra weight on her compact frame.
A Fresh Discovery
It’s always been important to Linda to feed Fisher well. Before discovering Nom Nom, she spent time looking for the best kibble she could find. “I was buying expensive stuff,” she says. “I always looked at the percent of crude protein, but it still was full of carbs and extra stuff. And she’s like me, carbs put weight on us!”
Linda kept hearing about fresh food, and when she looked into it, she liked what she read about Nom Nom. So she decided to give it a try to see if it could help with some of Fisher’s issues, including extra weight, shedding, loose stools, and problems expressing her anal glands.
From the start, things looked promising. “The first week, I knew I would continue, because she absolutely loved it,’ says Linda. “In the first month, she lost two pounds, which is a lot for her size!”
Happier and Healthier
And the positive changes continued, with everything Linda had hoped for coming to fruition.
“Her stools are much better. They’re much firmer, less frequent, a different color, and just look better. Before, with the kibble, they were soft and not good,” says Linda. “And she used to have problems with her anal glands expressing and we had to take her in all the time. Since we switched, it’s no longer a problem. She’s also shedding less and her coat looks glossier!”
Both Linda and Fisher are thrilled with Nom Nom. Fisher continues to steadily lose excess weight, and she loves every variety of Nom Nom’s fresh dog food. > “Now that I think back on it, it’s a big duh. Of course that other food was probably not as good for her. Of course she’s doing better now!”
